ABOUT US
Back On Your Feat is a charitable cause dedicated to helping the vulnerable homeless get out and stay out of homelessness and poverty. Having personally experienced the tragedy of homelessness within his own family, Back On Your Feat’s Founder Daniel felt compelled to reach out directly to help as many vulnerable homeless people as possible, and so he launched "Back On Your Feat" in October 2020 to achieve this goal.
To date, Back On Your Feat has already helped to change the lives of over 3000 people through their direct
outreach efforts. Our organisation provides a number of services for the vulnerable homeless including the provision of food, drinks, clothing and medical supplies.
+ We also help the vulnerable homeless with wider challenges such as mental health, substance abuse and finding accommodation.
Working 7 days a week, Back On Your Feat actively seeks out all who have fallen through every social safety net and now sadly find themselves unable to qualify for
conventional support.
All the time we have people in crisis Back On Your Feat will continue their vital outreach work, all of which remain financially self-funded.
MISSION STATEMENT:
Purpose: To make a difference in vulnerable people's lives and make them feel like they matter in society.
Aspiration: To change the narrative of homelessness and the stigma that comes with it.
Mission: To help those who are willing to get out of the homelessness and get back on their feet.
OUR LOGO :
Is designed to capture the very "Act of kindness" in which we literally reach out as part of our mission to support the vulnerable.
We truly believe that the only time you should ever look down on somebody is when you extend your own hand of kindness to lift them up.
From the very start, this act of reaching out in kindness has been used to define what We do. Our organisation was named through this very act of helping others "Back on you Feat" With the spelling of FEAT being a play on words to remind people that our help is often through the feeding of those most in need (F - EAT).
Our logo design follows this same belief and we hope that we can continue to develop and grow and expand our outreach to as many people as possible.
